Pack 418 Cub Scouts and Family,
This is our pack meeting for the month and a very special night. This is the night that we say goodbye to our Webelos scouts who are crossing over into Boy Scouts and the many adventures that lie ahead for them. We want to honor them and wish them good luck! We are also going to be awarding the rank badges to each level of our scouts. I promise that this will be a great night and one that you do not want to miss!! It will be at First United Methodist Church located on Country Club Rd and we will be eating that night. Everything starts at 6:30.
In March, we will have the annual Pack 418 Cake Auction. This is where each scout and their dad will make a cake and bring to the auction. It promises to be a very FUN evening. The money that we raise will help fund some of the summer activities for our pack. Last year we raised close to $900 and the cake ideas were awesome.
April is our Family Campout at Bonham State Park on April 19-21. Start planning now for a fun filled weekend for the entire family. The highlight of the weekend will be the Raingutter Regata on Saturday afternoon. More details to come, but it promises to be a really fun weekend again.
As you can see, we have some really great activities coming up and you don’t want to miss out. I congratulate the Webelos that will be crossing over into Boy Scout and I also congratulate the rest of the scouts in our pack for completing the requirements for their rank badge.
Keep up the great work as you explore the many adventures of Cub Scouting!!
